// Intro
The shadow that seeped upon the night's ground. It 'twas the moon's aurora, it's smile, it caused it! That bloody raven's shadow. It was not quite what all would expect, that shadow would shift to form the slender frame of it's holder. A mere girl?! Of course, once she slipped out from her hiding place..thats what she was, a mere girl, or so she appeared to be one at first glance. Blood red hues, oh how they had shown! They held in their own little world behind that twisted mind of wisdom and sinister appeal. Think not twice to turn your back before her, what stands really seems to be a black cat, yet her wording more fit to the cue of the Cheshire cat himself...that mouth! Fangs that surely did not fit for the normal, what was the true meaning of normal anyways? Short blonde strands of hair to attract the attention of the shadows..the others about, who were they? Never once did they step forth, they growled within the cast of deeply hued blackness...more deeper than the wing of a crow. A simple smile...from a smirk to a grin, she spoke of the things no one would set time to ponder upon. Those shadows of the "others" they suddenly were gone, and the mere girl before me seemed to run off in song.
// Victoria Seras
Born and raised in England, Victoria grew up in a family that always had someone on the force. Just as her father, she grew up to become an officer for the London Police Department's elite D-II Corp, following in her father's foot steps after his death. Yes, they adored her there, she somehow acquired the nickname "kitten" and was not always taken seriously. Always the one to cry, yet she got the job done.
Of course things started out nicely for her yet how obvious it was that things would take a turn.
Victoria and part of the D-11 team were dispatched to Cheders one darkly night. A priest there was reportedly drinking the blood of the townspeople and leaving them to turn into ghouls. As soon as the party reached Cheders, however, they were massacred. The officers seeked the help of Integral Hellsing, head of the Protestant Knight Organization, to destroy the vampire. Integral then dispatched a single agent to the scene.
Meanwhile, Victoria had survived an attack and started tending to a fallen comrade. She wistfully reminisced about how her nickname was "kitten" in the corps and how she used to cry on the battlefied. To her horror, her beloved comrade had turned into a ghoul while she was not looking. Victoria instantly turned and fled back toward her group's base. Once the base was reached where the area her company had fallen, Victoria sees that the bodies had turned into ghouls. As they moved to attack her, she recognized her former companions.
Not wanting to wait around, Victoria made her way to the church, the object of her mission. As she stood in front of it, a ghoul lumbered toward her. Before Victoria could even shoot it, the Hellsing agent, a vampire named Alucard, destroyed the ghoul. Alucard moved toward her, commenting that such nights made him hungry. As his fangs glinted, Victoria began to fire in fear. The bullet passed harmlessly through Alucard and with that Victoria ran away as soon as she realized he isn't human. She finally arrived at the church and hesitantly pushed open the door. As she walked in, a voice spoke to her from the darkness. It mockingly asked if she was seeking the gospel, and it was then that the vampire priest stepped into the light. He drew Victoria toward him, admiring her looks and explained that he'll make her a vampire like him. Victoria, unable to struggle, managed to raise her gun to his head. The vampire ignored her threat, and leaned over to bite her. It was not long until a voice from the window stopped him, and with that he lifted his head to see Alucard suddenly standing there.
Alucard berated the unholy priest, who became furious and summoned his ghouls. They mercilessly attack Alucard, who was seemingly defeated as Victoria looked on in horror. Slowly, Alucard's remains on the floor drew back together and Alucard stood up nonchalantly. He drew his gun and aimed at the priest, who drew Victoria up like a shield and screamed that Alucard will have to kill her too. Alucard locked his gaze with Victoria's and asked her if she'd like to go with him. He continued, telling her that she won't be forced, but she could avoid dying that day. Victoria agreed and Alucard fired through her and into the vampire.
Alucard soon took step over to Victoria's prone form and kneeled by her. He lifted her into his arms and reminded her that this path was her choice. He soon leaned over to lick a trail of blood from her lips, and teasingly told her that girls usually close their eyes at times like this. Victoria smiled and her head tilted back, exposing her throat as Alucard leaned down to drink. Outside, Integral was waiting for Alucard to return. Sure enough he did, carrying Victoria wrapped up in a blanket. He told Integral to have Victoria transferred to the Hellsing Institute. Integral did not look thrilled at the turn of events, but she agreed bringing Victoria into not only a new force, yet a new reason.
